Volta Trucks, manufacturer and service provider for all-electric commercial vehicles, and DB Schenker, one of the world's leading logistics service providers and market leaders in European overland transport, have jointly completed the test phase with the all-electric Volta Zero in Europe.
For the first time, a prototype of the Volta Zero drove for design verification on the roads and in the real sales environment in Paris.

In 2021, the two companies agreed on a far-reaching partnership and the pre-order of nearly 1,500 all-electric Volta Zero vehicles – the largest order for medium-duty electrified trucks in Europe to date. The all-electric 16-tonne Volta Zero will be used in DB Schenker's European terminals to transport goods from distribution centres to city centres and conurbations. Here, the innovative design of the vehicle, the safety-oriented driver's cab to protect vulnerable road users and the emission-free drive will offer important advantages.
