Targa Telematics and Volkswagen Group Info Services AG have reached an agreement that provides Targa Telematics with a direct data link to Volkswagen brands. This partnership will enable the integration of fleet vehicle data from six Volkswagen Group brands into Targa Telematics’ platform. These brands include Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi, Škoda, SEAT, and Cupra. Targa Telematics Secures Direct Fleet Data Link to Volkswagen Brands

Targa customers will benefit from dynamic vehicle data, covering areas such as mileage, fuel consumption, EV data, and warning lights, among others. This integration will enable key fleet services such as maintenance management, stolen vehicle recovery, claims management, fraud detection, drive analytics, activity reports, EV management, and corporate car sharing, all without the need for hardware installations.
Additional benefits include tools to optimize sales strategies for leasing, rental, and car-sharing firms using historical data. These tools will help maximize remarketing value, monitor and reduce operational costs, and boost fleet efficiency and utilization.

Its GDPR-compliant approach ensures that mobility solutions meet customer needs while maintaining the highest standards of data protection.
