Continental’s testing laboratory now supports product development and analysis for outside partners.
Continental says it is now offering its Qualification Lab services to outside partners. Continental's US-based Qualification Labs, located in Deer Park, Illinois and Detroit, Michigan, provide testing and analysis capabilities to support successful product development. Companies can partner with Continental for testing in research, development, and production.
The company says its services are not limited to automotive development but can also benefit companies in various industries, including manufacturing, agriculture, medical and more. Customers will work directly with Continental's engineering experts to identify and complete necessary testing and development activities.
"Partners will be provided the same level of service relied on at Continental to develop award-winning programs and projects," said James Walker, Manager of Qualification Laboratories Special Teams at Continental. "Our team of engineers delivers an unmatched level of quality testing and analysis. In addition, we offer customers the same commitment that has led to success at Continental for 150 years."
Two critical areas of service are available to customers: product testing and analysis services.
The Continental team boasts an extensive portfolio of product testing capabilities that can be applied across industries. Examples include:
Chemical Exposure Testing
Multiple Environment Stress Testing (MEST)
Continental's world-class labs also offer analysis services to customers. Its team of analysts applies decades of experience to perform functions that customers rely on, such as:
Chemical and Material Analysis
Component Construction Analysis
Reliability Physics Simulations
Continental Qualification Labs are accredited to IATF 16949, and the Deer Park EMC lab is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited.
